This presentation focuses on medical-surgical nurses who are caring for patients accessing hospice and palliative care services. It provides nurses an understanding of hospice and palliative care, advance care planning, and symptom management strategies at end of life.
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to describe one evidence-based symptom management technique for end of life.
