This webinar will provide an overview of prevalence, types of pain, and common pain interventions. Updates will be provided regarding common pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. The session will conclude with a recent, undergraduate student project exploring chronic pain interventions in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Learning Outcome
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to appropriately assess and treat pain in the Medical-Surgical patient.
