The aim of this project was to introduce a hybrid staffing model on a medical-surgical unit. The new model “Triad” is a team approach for providing patient-centered care. Improvement of quality of care and teamwork were some of the outcomes of this project. After completing this learning activity, I am able to describe a hybrid staffing model for a medical-surgical unit that produces improvement in quality of care and teamwork.

Loved this article. Hopefully as we strive for team work and rounding our facility will see the need and betterment for the Triad model.
