The aim of this project was to introduce a hybrid staffing model on a medical-surgical unit. The new model “Triad” is a team approach for providing patient-centered care. Improvement of quality of care and teamwork were some of the outcomes of this project. After completing this learning activity, I am able to describe a hybrid staffing model for a medical-surgical unit that produces improvement in quality of care and teamwork.
