That nurses should be be aware that hyperthyroidism is a treatable endocrine disorder. That having a working knowledge of the current evidence based guidelines for trating hyperthyroidism. That nurses should be aware of the varying signs & symptoms of this disease. That they will be prepared to address potential complications as they care for medical surgical patients.
