This study analyzed PRISM unit applications to identify key characteristics of units that did and did not achieve recognition. Results may provide unit leaders with a road map for achieving excellence in medical-surgical patient care.

Very well explained. A positive workplace culture improves teamwork, helps to increase morale to increases productivity and efficiency. Staffs physical well being and flexibility enhances retention of the workforce.
